The meeting (Monday after school)

Jasper leaned against Rosalie's car, quickly scanning the parking lot for anyone, and then looking back at Alice. He straightened up as Alice's expression caught his eye. Jasper watched Edward go back to his car, and then looked down at Alice as she patted his shoulder. He hopped into the back of Rosalie's car after helping Alice into the front passenger seat. He leaned forward and whispered in her ear.
"What did Edward say to you, Alice...I can tell you're upset..."

Alice rested against the seat, but turned her head when she heard Jasper's voice. She shook her head and tried to put on a smile.
"It's nothing... don't worry about it, Jazz. I'll tell you about it later.... when we get home."
She twisted her arm and patted his knee as she smiled.
