Marguerite pounded her way into her next class. Her fury towards her sister was completely unprecedented to any anger she had felt towards any of her family. They had spent months, nearly years making this move. She knew how much it meant to Sebastian. She knew how hard they had all worked to make this possible.
And Oceane was screwing it up.
A low growl rose in her chest but she kept it there. A strained smile played on her features as she entered her photography class and took a seat in the back corner. The teacher began to mumble about the course syllabus and some stupid ice breaker game they were going to play in order to familiarize the students, but Marguerite was far away somewhere else. A buzzing in her pocket broke her thoughts and she fingered a shiny metallic cellphone stealthily in her grip.
What's going on? Have you met The Cullens yet?
Juliette's text message was cold and distant, like she herself could be some times. She didn't even bother to ask how Marguerite and Oceane were handling their first day; it was always straight to business. But Marguerite knew that Juliette cared for them...she just didn't always know how to express it.
Marguerite answered the text message with lightning fast speed and accuracy and pocketed the instrument before the teacher could even blink.
