After reassuring Jasper one last time and kissing him goodbye, Alice pushed open the door to the theatre and skipped her way inside. The large room was empty except for the some-twenty students sitting in the front two rows. Alice slowed her pace just enough to make it appear like she was gliding down the isle. The other students watched her intently until Alice chose an empty seat in the front row in between two other students. Alice pretended to not notice when they squirmed nervously in their seats. She heard the other couple of sophomores in the class murmuring about the rumors about her, but paid no attention. She smiled at the two students next to her. "Hi. I'm Alice. You two are new freshmen, correct?" They both tried to smile back at her, but still looked very nervous.

Just then, the teacher appeared from the trap door under the stage and walked toward them. "Good morning, or late morning I should say. Raise your hand if you have been in theater before. Only one? Good, then we've got a great semester ahead of us. Now, I know theater can seem pretty scary at first, because, obviously you're up in front of a full theater of people you don't know and you're trying to impress them with your talents. So, to break the ice, I'm going to introduce myself first, and then I'm going to have you each take a turn standing right here and telling me about yourself. But I want you to try to act it out, as if you are in either a comedy, tragedy, or any type of theatrical subject you want." The teacher then began to laugh and blurt out things about herself. "I am Trisha Reynolds. I grew up in the Bronx, New York. I love baseball, food, and obviously the theatrical arts. I graduated college with a double major, one in theater and one in business, and a minor in singing. My favorite colors are mahogany red, cream white, and chocolate brown. I hate math, spiders, and people with a bland personality, so you all better keep me entertained." After the class finished laughing, the teacher pulled a folded-up piece of paper from her back pocket and read the first name off of it. After a few students nervously tried to act out their information, Alice began to think back on the vampire from Jasper's shop class. Was the girl really nothing to worry about, or was there something Alice could have possibly missed? "Alice Cullen." Alice jerked her eyes over to the teacher and put on a smile to hide that she hadn't been paying attention. She quickly stood up and leapt up onto the stage. She turned around, raised one hand to touch her collarbone, and stretched her hand out into the air in a Shakespearian motion. "I am Alice Cullen. I am a sophomore and all the world's a stage! I grew up all over, but was born in Biloxi Mississippi. I love shopping, organizing activities for my family to do together, and I love to read. I hope to graduate college with a double major in dance and music, and a minor in theater. There isn't really a color I dislike, but there are colors that I think do not really belong near each other. I don't really dislike any subjects, but I can't stand seeing a person who mixes clothing styles that obviously shouldn't be mixed. And I can recite Shakespeare and T.S. Eliot like the back of my hand." Alice smiled and hopped off the stage and back into her seat. The class had laughed a little with her during her explanation, and everyone began to loosen up a little.

After everyone introduced themselves, the teacher climbed back up onto the stage and beckoned everyone to follow her. She led everyone to the center of the quite large stage and raised her hands, making a circle with her fingers. "Okay, please make a large circle. We're going to get more familiar with each other." The teacher began to explain a weird sort of game as everyone made a giant circle with the teacher in the middle. "Alright. What you do is, the one person who doesn't have a partner, you have to go up to anyone in the circle, grab their hand and take them back to your original place in the circle. Meanwhile, everyone else in the circle, you need to count to 20 like this: One and twenty, two and twenty, three and four and five and six and twenty, seven and twenty, eight and twenty, nine and ten and eleven and twenty. And so on. When we get to 20, the person without a partner starts the next game. And you cannot take back your last partner, and you cannot grab the person next to you. So, everyone look to your left. That person is now your partner. And I will be the singleton and start the game. Let's start!" Everyone began counting and the teacher went up to a very shy-looking boy who looked like he was trying to dye his skin black with all of the tight black clothing he wore. He reluctantly took the teacher's hand and followed her back to the other side of the circle. His partner, another boy who dressed exactly like the last boy, glanced around before slowly walking over to a girl at the opposite side of the circle. The girl's partner, a boy that closely resembled Emmett, locked eyes with Alice. He strode over and held out his hand. Alice, knowing that he would definitely notice her cold skin, reluctantly took his hand. The boy's arm muscles twitched slightly at the touch and glanced down at Alice as they reached the boy's original place. "You're hand's really cold... Were you just in one of the trailers outside or something?" Alice giggled and smiled. "No, I was in a history class. But that room didn't have the heat on, so it was cold. Plus I was sitting near the door." Just as the boy began to smile down at her, the first boy that had his partner taken by the teacher came and grabbed Alice's hand. The boy didn't seem to notice Alice's cold skin, and rushed back to his spot. Alice noted that the boy's skin was cold, but in a natural human way. The boy glanced at her from the corner of his eye and tried to smile at her, but only managed to get his bottom lip to quiver. Alice smiled at him, regardless. Just as the boy was about to say something to her, the bell to signal that class was over rang, startling the boy immensely. Alice smiled once more and turned to grab her bag from her seat in the front row. She felt the boy following her as she quickly made her way up the isle and out the door. As she rounded the corner, she felt her arm being caught and she spun around to find Jasper standing there. She let out a heavy sigh and looked up at Jasper. "Thank god, it's you, Jazz."

Just as he was leaving his computer class, Jasper felt a sudden shiver of panic that was not of his own emotions. Jasper ran down the hallway and reached the theatre just as Alice rounded the corner, walking fast as if there was a fire in the theatre. He caught her arm just as she was about to pass him. He watched as Alice turned around, almost as if she didn't know it was him gripping her arm. Her eyes were like daggers, but when she realized it was only Jasper, he heard her sigh heavily. "Thank god, it's you, Jazz." He looked at her worriedly, his eyes searching hers for any sort of an answer before she said anything. He tried to calm her down and obviously succeeded, because she let her head suddenly rest against his chest. Jasper looked down at her, surprised. "What's going on now? What's wrong?"

Alice sighed again before looking up at him. "Just another boy trying to tell me how he already thinks he feels about me." Alice watched as Jasper's face contorted into a frown, his eyes looking up and glancing around. Using the reflection in Jasper's eyes, Alice saw the same boy behind her by his locker a few feet away. "He's the one with the locker door open, tight all black clothing, sad expression..."

Using Alice's description, Jasper's eyes locked on the boy and he could suddenly feel the emotions emanating from him. Jasper glanced away as if he was still searching for the boy, but grinned to let Alice know he had found him. After a moment, he glanced back at the boy, whom had tried to occupy himself in pretending to search for something in his locker. Jasper whispered so that only Alice could hear. "What would you like me to do this time? Just friends or a complete dissipation?" He looked down into Alice's eyes, waiting for her answer. She looked like she was having trouble deciding. Jasper rubbed her arm gently with his hand. "It's alright if you just want him to be a friend. I won't mind. You would just have to deal with him more often than not."

Alice watched Jasper's eyes as they locked on the boy from her theatre class. She waited for Jasper's reaction to the boy's emotions, knowing Jasper didn't like it when other boys would form feelings for her. When he suddenly grinned, she became a little confused, but decided that would be a conversation for later. When Jasper asked what she wanted him to do, she found herself feeling slightly sorry for the boy; he probably had trouble finding the right type of girl to like, which would explain his nervousness. When Jasper rubbed her arm and reassured her, she decided it would probably be for the better if the boy had never formed such feelings. She looked up into Jasper's eyes sadly and nodded. "It would.... probably be for the better that he had never formed such feelings... but considering we can't change the past....And we don't want anything to happen so that the family is put into danger...so the latter option would probably be the best option unfortunately..."

After listening to Alice's response, Jasper glanced around at the other students in the hallway. There was a girl standing on the other side of the hallway, occassionally looking at the boy Jasper was just about to change the emotions of. Jasper smiled a little. "How perfectly coincidential. It just so happens there is a girl watching that boy..." Jasper grinned and sent out a feeling of love towards the girl. He watched as she glanced back at the boy, and her eyes suddenly widened a little. Then, sending out the same emotion to the boy, Jasper watched as the boy happened to glance over at the girl. Jasper looked back down at Alice, softly wrapping an arm around her. As he led her down the hallway, the boy and the girl began talking and finding things to bond over. Jasper smiled to himself, having made two more people in the world happy. "So, your next class is right across from mine this time."

Alice saw the smiles appear on Jasper's face and felt the emotion of love emanating from him. As Jasper led her down the hallway, Alice glanced back and saw that the boy had become a little bit brave and approached a girl on the opposite side of the hallway. She smiled knowingly and looked up at Jasper happily. She nodded at him when he mentioned their next classes. "Yep. You've got Spanish 2 and I've got French 2. But Edward, Bella, and Rosalie are all in French 2 as well, so we'll be able to talk to them before lunch after all. I saw it during theatre. We can meet outside the classroom and talk the situation over." Alice followed Jasper's gentlemanly gait in her ballerina-like steps as he led her into the other half of the school, where the language classes were held.
