Personality: Rosalie can come off quite abrasively, but usually has good intentions. She is very protective of her family and their secret. She was not a fan of Bella changing into vampire, but only because it wasn’t something she would have chosen if she would have been given the choice. She is in love with Emmett, whom she saved from a bear attack to bring to Carlisle to be changed. She is a bit vain and likes to be fussed over and has married Emmett publicly several times to satisfy that need.

Past: Rosalie was born in Rochester, New York as the amazingly gorgeous daughter to a man who worked in a bank and his wife. They pushed her to pursue a wealthy man for their own selfish gain. One day her mom “forgot” to send her father’s lunch with him and sent Rosalie with it, where her beauty caught the eye of the bank owner’s son, Royce King the second. They were engaged shortly after. Rosalie was at her friend Vera’s house that had just had a baby boy, Henry. She watched her friend Vera and her husband and realized that her and Royce’s relationship was missing something, love. On her way home that night she ran into Royce and his friends who were drunk and Royce began to brag about his fianc’s beauty which resulting in her being beaten (and most likely raped) and left in the street to die, where Carlisle came upon her and decided she would be a perfect mate for Edward. Afterwards, she found Royce and his friends and tortured and killed them, saving Royce for last, but was careful to not spill any of their blood. Rosalie is quite proud of the fact that she has never partaken of human blood.
While she was brought into the family as a mate for Edward, they never took to each other as anything other than brother and sister. In 1935 while hunting Rosalie came across Emmett, who had been mauled by a bear. The curls in his hair reminded her of her friend Vera’s little Henry and she took him to Carlisle to have him changed and they fell in love.
Her and Emmett live with their vampire family moving from place to place but occasionally she and Emmett will go "off to college" and live on their own for a few years after they remarry.
