[Jasper Hale]

Upon returning to the house, Jasper opened the door for Alice, followed her in and closed the door behind him quietly not wanting to disturb Esme. He quickly led her upstairs and into their bedroom.
"I think if Esme does come up, we can tell her that you overused your sight and you're tired for now, since it is partly true."

[Alice Cullen]

Alice nodded to Jasper and lay down on the bed, sighing.
"I suppose I could use a short rest, although I don't think I can get my thoughts reined in to calm down."
Alice let her eyes close for a few moments before opening them again to look over at Jasper as he crossed the room and stood before the window.
"I hope these few hours pass quickly and bring the others home soon."
