Delilah slid her car sideways to a stop in front of her house in the country. Something she rarely did with her Mustang, it was her pride and joy, so she rarely drove like that on country roads, but she was so mad at herself for acting like such a dope before. She grabbed her bag out of the passenger seat. She stopped, momentarily, to decide whether or not she was home for the night, so she could pull her car into the garage if she needed to, then remembered she needed to run back into town later for a couple things.
She entered her house and the silence and emptiness was like a slap in the face. She had plenty of furniture and things but it still seemed empty, but then again what five bedroom house wouldn't when only one person lived there. Nothing like overkill I guess. She thought when she thought back about buying it for just herself. She plopped down on the couch and pulled her laptop out of her bag, leaned over and grabbed a cell phone off of the end table next to the couch and preceded to set it up to her number. When she was done, text messages came pouring in. One was from her Mom. It was a quick one, which was a bit unusual for her Mom.
Call me as soon as you get home. Love you!
She hit call back immediately. "Hey Mom! What's up?"

"Hi honey!" Rebekah said, a little too enthusiastically. "Well I wanted to give you a heads up that we're going to come see you. Someone wanted it to be a surprise, but I told him it would be much better if we warned you a little. Anyhow, we're going to be there around anywhere from noon to 2 o'clock. It all quite depends on how much of of a lead foot you father gets." She said playfully glaring at Ardal.

Delilah was quiet, part of her was excited to see her family, but part of her was not at all excited. She loved her parents, and well she loved Tabby too, but well, she was the little sister she never asked for.
"That's great!" Delilah exclaimed, hoping her Mom wouldn't hear the part of her that was less than thrilled about the news. "I won't be out of school til about 3:30. I'd ditch for the day but it's the second day and we're on block scheduling and the weather seems like it's supposed to be nice, well nice for vampires anyway." Delilah chuckled.

"It is alright that we visit?" She asked, hearing a slight bit of disappointment in her daughter's voice. "If it's not we can always head back home." She said, hoping Delilah didn't say they should just go back home. She waited for her answer.

OOC: ROTFL I totally thought I had posted this lil part... but apparently I was wrong. I had saved it in a word doc late one night and forgot to post it. >.< School kills brain cells I swear......
Delilah walked into her large, empty kitchen and sat at one of the stools she had at the breakfast bar.
"Oh no mom. I'd love to see you guys." Delilah said cheerfully. "It was just an interesting day. New school and that kind of stuff. I'll explain it all tomorrow when you get here. I got a lot to do though, so I'll talk to you then okay? Love you guys. Bye." She said before pressing the end button on her phone.
She looked around the empty kitchen and then to the living room which had countless wrapped paintings and drawings she had acquired over the years as well as a few carefully wrapped sculptures. She laughed at how she could make a house look as though it were lived in by a 5 person family on her own.
I suppose I should start making it look like I live here already. She went to her tool box and opened it, to find she was completely out of nails. Shit. Well I needed to run back into town for shampoo anyway.
Delilah headed out to her car and headed into Forks to go to the store.

When Delilah got back to her house from town, she quickly got to work at cleaning her house. She sprinted around the living room, trying to make it presentable, which wasn't hard with her nicely matching furniture, giving the room a classy look with her dark red, black and white theme. When she was done she finished the room by hanging up some of the artwork that went along with it and setting up a few sculptures.
She stepped back and admired her work and looked at her watch. Not bad. I should be done in plenty of time to kill some time with some reading and a game or two. She continued on, finally getting the house put together, after already living there for almost an entire week. Now the move to Forks was becoming more permanent it seemed. She had finally met some people, even other vamps, who had appeared friendly and she suddenly no longer had a hard time with settling in.
