BIC:
Rosalie ran the brush through her hair and check it again in the mirror. She flipped it over her shoulder and smiled. Then she turned to walk back into the bedroom she shared with her husband. She walked past him without realizing it, wondering what the gathering at the O'Malley's would be like, when he grabbed her from behind.
"Aren't you going to get dressed?" Rosalie said, laughing, his strong arms around her.
"I'm only missing my shirt. Besides, we have plenty of time before we have to be there." Emmett grinned and pulled Rosalie towards their bed, which was still messed up from before.
She giggled. "Come on, we have to go downstairs before we go."
"They can wait. " Emmett said before pressing his lips to hers. "Come on." He pleaded, smiling.
Rose stared back at him, fighting to stay adamant before they had family members pounding on their bedroom door. She was doing well too, all until she saw those dimples that melted her heart every time, and she shook her head and proceeded to passionately kiss him back.

BIC:
Renesmee's eyes fluttered open. She glanced at the clock and closed her eyes in frustration. She had only intended on a short nap late that morning and now it was well on into the afternoon. She sighed and opened her eyes again. This time she could hear Jacob entering their room. They had fought that morning while on a walk in the woods. When they had gotten home she had gone upstairs for her nap, leaving him outside. She wondered if he was still mad.
"Nessie?" Jacob's voice soothed her even after their arguement that morning.
"Hmmm?" She rolled over to face him. He came to the bed and lay down next to her.
"I'm sorry about earlier." He said, moving some hair out of her face. His apology surprised Renesmee since it was really all her fault that they had gotten into a fight. She had been worried about something and had been avoiding the entire family, not just Jacob. Everyone had been irritated with her and she wasn't sure how long she could keep it a secret, especially from her Dad. She just wanted to be sure before she said anything. "I'm sure you have your reasons." He began again. "So I'm not going to push it anymore. K?"
"Ok." Renesmee said smiled brightly before she kissed him. "Thank you."
"They're wanting to talk downstairs before we head over. You up for it?" Jacob asked, putting his arm around her.
"Yeah, just give me a few minutes to get ready okay?"
"Okay. Love you." He said before kissing her forehead and getting up to leave the room.
"Love you too." She said before getting up to get ready, not wanting to go downstairs for the meeting but knowing everyone would get more worried than they already were.

Alice took one more glance at her face and outfit of choice in the mirror of her bathroom before briskly walking into the bedroom. She sighed heavily as she gazed out the window. Jasper hadn't returned from his 'walk' yet and it was worrying her. Alice sat down on their queen-sized bed, folding her hands between her knees. She knew that this meeting with the O'Malley family was important to Carlisle and didn't want to have them be late.

Jasper scaled the big oak tree outside the window of the bedroom he and Alice shared, and quickly snapped open the window. Seeing Alice sitting on the edge of their bed, his expression changed.
"I'm so sorry. I lost track of time. Is the family waiting downstairs?"
After Alice nodded her head, Jasper rushed into the bathroom to wash the dirt off his face, and quickly changed into a more appropriate clothing selection. He held out his arm to Alice after opening the door to lead her downstairs.

OOC: Edward Cullen is currently temping Bella & Esme Cullen until we get a permanent player, therefore their posts will be combined when necessary. (I figured Abby was temping Carlisle so I would temp Esme)
Edward paced the living room of the Cullen home, upset with how his family had been disregarding the fact that Carlisle was wanting to meet with the family, including his own daughter. Then again Renesmee had been sleeping more than usual, but there had also been a lot going on this week what with the Reineqs asking for help and then mysteriously disappearing two days later. It was weird, but they had gone by where the Reineq's had lived for such a short time and there were no signs of struggle so they may have just decided it was better to stay elsewhere.
"Edward, dear, you're pacing again." Esme said as she came into the room. She sat on a chair she had just recently reupholstered and examined a seam on the arm of the chair for just a moment before turning her attention back to her son. "We have plenty of time before the meeting at the O'Malley's." She smiled. "And I just refinished the floor yesterday." She said with a raised eyebrow and a joking smirk.
Edward stopped when Esme pointed out what he was doing. "Sorry."
"Edward come sit down. Not everyone is as punctual as you are." Bella said, wishing her husband would calm down. He had been wound tight all week. Granted, Bella had been worried a few times this week, but it was nothing like Edward had been.
Edward went and sat next to his wife to wait for the rest of the family, as patiently as possible.

As Jasper led her around the corner into the living room, Alice glanced around the room quickly before stopping.
"Where's Carlisle?"
She followed Jasper's lead as he headed toward one of the many sofas in the room and sat down, facing Esme.
"Is he still upstairs?"
Just as Alice had finished her sentence, Carlisle rounded the corner and entered the room briskly.
"I see we are still missing Rosalie, Emmett, Jacob, and Renesmee. Edward, please send them reminders that they need to be here for this meeting."
Carlisle finished snapping the buttons on his jacket sleeve and took a seat on a chair near Esme.

Jacob came downstairs shortly after Carlisle. "Nessie'll be down in a few." Jacob said as he plopped down in a chair in the living room.
Nessie put on the new dress Alice had picked out for her. She smiled brightly as she gave herself one last once over before heading downstairs. She ran her hand through her long auburn hair and then turned to head down stairs.
She rounded the corner to see everyone waiting, some patiently, others not so patiently. She struggled not to think about what had been worrying her, not wanting to raise her father's suspicion but knowing it was probably already too late.

Edward watched his daughter come in the room. He knew she was hiding something but she had gotten very good at knowing how to keep it from everyone, even him, who could read minds. He wanted to know what was going on, but knew that they needed to focus on the task at hand right now.
Esme smiled brightly at her grand-daughter. "Nessie, honey, would you please go get Emmett and Rosalie?" She asked, knowing that most of the family was getting restless waiting.

"Of course." Renesmee chimed with a smile and turned to head back upstairs to Rosalie & Emmett's room. She could hear Rosalie giggling and some light rough-housing. She knocked lightly on the door.
"Aunt Rose, Uncle Em. Everyone's downstairs waiting for you guys." She said, smirking and shaking her head. This was definitely not the first time they had kept the family waiting and she knew well that it definitely wouldn't be the last. She knew it annoyed some of the family sometimes, but she couldn't help but smile at how in love Rosalie and Emmett were even after so many years together.

Rosalie and Emmett were both laughing as they continued to wrestle around.
"Come on." Rosalie said. "They're probably all downstairs waiting for us." She giggled.
"Ah let them wait. We're vampires. We have eternity." He responded with a smirk and started kissing her neck. It was then they heard Nessie knock on the door.
"See I told you." She said, sliding away from him. She got up from their bed, the sheets of which were now mostly on the floor. She was brushing through her hair with her fingers when he grabbed her from behind and fell back to the bed with her.
A loud bang followed and they rolled off the bed to the floor, both laughing, as the two legs that held the bed up at the end snapped from the fall.
"Okay, come on." Rosalie said, sitting up, still laughing. "Now you've broken yet another bed frame. I think that's our cue to go now." They both got to their feet and glanced in the mirror to straighten their clothes and for Rosalie to fix her hair again and then opened the door to their room.
(OOC: Sorry had this in my head and just had to get it out, lol. One of the things I love about Rose and Emmett is that they are still lovey dovey after SO many years together and have destroyed entire houses in their passion and lovey dovey-ness.)

Renesmee shook her head and laughed quietly as she heard Rosalie and Emmett's exchange from the other side of the door. She jumped a little at the sound of their bed breaking and struggled to keep from laughing out loud when she heard them hit the floor. She was still standing there stifling a laugh when they opened the door.
"Finally ready to grace the family with your presence?" She asked with a mischievous smirk when they opened the door.

Carlisle stared at the ceiling at the sound of the bedframe breaking and sighed as he made eye contact with the others.
"There they go again.... Breaking more furniture..."
Alice stifled a giggle as she grabbed Jasper's hand and gently squeezed it.
"We can't really blame them though, Carlisle. We all have our moments."
Carlisle tried to remain calm, but was getting a bit fidgety as the time drew nearer for them to meet with the O'Malleys. He shifted his arms slightly as they waited for the three to come downstairs.

I have never watched all of Wizard of Oz, mostly for a lack of desire to see the whole thing, lol.  BIC: Emmett ruffled Nessie's hair lightly as he and Rosalie stepped out of their room. They were laughing lightly as they headed downstairs. When they rounded the corner they struggled not to laugh at the look on the faces of their family members. "Sorry. We lost track of time." Rosalie apologized, elbowing Emmett playfully. They headed over to a spot on the floor of the living room. "So what did you guys want to talk about?" Rose asked quickly to change the subject and get the meeting going, so maybe they could finish what they had started. |

OOC: Ah, well Dorothy always called her aunt 'Auntie Em' and seeing Uncle Em reminded me of it.
BIC:
Carlisle cleared his throat, but stayed in his seat as he made eye contact with all of his family.
"As we all know by now, we're going to be meeting with the O'Malley family very shortly. I would just like to make sure we are all on the same page in knowing that this family is not a threat to us. At least as far as we know. Alice has informed me that she has not seen anything out of the ordinary, so we're good for now. But I would just like to make sure that we all be as polite and welcoming as possible. We don't want to be making enemies. However, we will be taking slight precautions just in case something does come up. Edward, I will be having you listen in on their thoughts briefly, but not the entire time, mostly because we don't want them to feel uncomfortable. Alice, don't try too hard, but do keep yourself open to any visions if the occassion does come up for any reason."
Carlisle paused and took in an unneeded breath.
"Are there any questions so far? Anything anyone needs to say?"

Jasper waited for Carlisle to finish speaking, and then waited briefly before quietly clearing his own throat to speak. He moved his arm from the back of the sofa behind Alice to his side and clasped his hands tightly together.
"Carlisle, will Bella's abilities, as well as my own, be needed? Or will we be relaying some sort of signal in the need of them if the situation should arise?"

Carlisle nodded at Jasper's question.
"I think we will just have you two not use them for now, and we will come up with a signal, or even have Edward signal you if the need arises at some point. But for now, we will just assume they are harmless, and we will not use those abilities. Are there any other questions? Concerns?"
Carlisle looked around the room again patiently.

Rosalie nodded in agreement with Bella. "She did help us kick the boys' asses in PE." She smirked and bumped Emmett reminding him of their loss. It wasn't often she could rub a loss in his face so she had to take advantage of the few opportunities she had. Plus it was fun to get him all riled up.
Emmett threw a quick playful glare in Rosalie's direction. "You just wait til we have a rematch. Anyway I gotta agree, D seems cool and she doesn't seem like she's holding anything back, she's been pretty open with us all." He said, nodding.

Jacob was quiet, though not because he disagreed but merely because he didn't disagree. He didn't trust vampire much beyond their little family, but he felt like the O'Malley's were just another family like them.
Renesmee nodded in agreement with Emmett. "She's hasn't been hesistant at all towards me." She said, remembering how unsurprised or comfortable Delilah had been when she showed her her gift and then how willing she was to show Renesmee things she had experienced and even told her about her family. "Plus her Mom's a halfie like me, but alot older, so we could learn more about it." She said, smiling widely. She had seen and talked with another half vampire, but he was a male and things were a bit different, like she wasn't venomous and he was so she was excited to learn more from another female halfie with so much more experience.

Carlisle nodded and let a little smirk spread across his lips at Renesmee's wide smile.
"Alright then. Since no one else has any concerns or questions, I suppose we should be on our way over to the O'Malleys' house. I suggest we take only a few cars, to cut down on gas. Esme and I will take my car, and we'll take three more, and the rest in another car, whomever wants to drive can make that decision."
Carlisle rose from his seat and offered a hand to Esme.
Alice hopped up and looked over at Rosalie, a small sly grin on her face.
"You wanna drive, or may I?"

"Works for me." Rosalie answered as she and Emmett got up to headed to the cars to head over to the O'Malley's. The entire way Rosalie and Emmett were still picking on each other, bumping into each other and getting rougher as they made their way to Alice's car.
"You better straighten up." Rose threatened. "You mess up Alice's Porsche she'll kick your ass. She had to bug Edward about that thing for years."

Edward stood up. "Bella, Nessie, Jacob and I will take my car." He offered Bella his hand to help her off the couch like the gentleman he was. He waited for the rest of the family to get movie and shook his head as Rosalie and Emmett left the house, continuing their rough-housing. He just hoped they would all get it out of their system before they knocked out a wall out at the O'Malley's. Oh the impression that would leave. Bella took his hand and suppressed a laugh at the look on Edward's face.

"I'm driving!" Nessie volunteered excitedly after Edward said they would be taking his car. She smiled brightly at her father, knowing he wouldn't be able to protest.
Jacob stood silently behind her. He wasn't all that thrilled about the dinner, but knew it was important for them to find like-minded vampires. He just really didn't like the number of vampires that was around Forks and therefore near the Quileute reservation and wondered if it would cause a new influx of wolves.

Alice shook her head playfully as she jumped into the seat and flipped on the ignition.

She patiently waited for Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett to get in before she sped off into the night toward the O'Malley's house.
