Hey everyone, welcome to Deva Vu!! ;D
Here is a quick set of rules. Rules may be added later on as the need arises and they will be written in red and I will make sure to make an announcement if I add any.
1. Please be respectful to all members! This means being polite to each other. Characters will have disputes but don't be mean about another's style of posting etc. Also do not not steal from other members as well. If you have a problem with another member for any reason PM an admin or mod.
2. All characters must be approved by an admin (me). Fill out the Character Profile and email it to me at i_am_rainbowbunnie@yahoo.com BEFORE signing up. Original characters are more than welcome but they too, but must be approved as well. Powers must be reasonable for the character type as well. (There will be no omnipotent characters, yes the occasional mind reader, but that's much different.)
3. All posts must be done in third person. Things just flow better that way. Posts should also be small paragraph or longer, no one sentence posts! Please spell check your posts. A mistake here and there is alright but if your posts are mistake ridden then I will give you a warning. Type it up in Word if you have to then paste it to post it, just try to keep it clean.
4. Any un-played book characters will be taken up by the mods until they are filled. Also, if you decide to leave the RPG your character must either be written out (if it is an OC) or taken over by someone else (for canon characters only) and the other person must submit an application!
5. If you take a character you are expected to be active. Anyone who hasn't posted for 5 weeks will be removed from the RPG. If something comes up please email an admin or mod or post in the appropriate board and someone know what is going on. We understand life comes before the internet!
6. Characters must act their species. Vampires won't be jumping out of bed in the morning and such. Obvious but I wanted to make sure it was out there! (Note: Vampires wouldn't have illnesses/disabilities in the Twilight world with the exception of missing limbs, as that kind of stuff would be fixed in the process of the change, proven by Edward being cured of Spanish Influenza when he was changed. Also in our lil world of Twilight here- 1/2 vampires can have children, even the females. In the opinion of the admin they would still have the ability, they would just be on a much different cycle, like years rather than months.)
7. Swearing is not prohibited but don't go overboard. One or two swears per post should be alright. If you type a word and it is automatically censored to all *s then you better change it to something else before an admin or mod sees it or you will go straight to the second offense. Your first offense will be a warning, the second will be having your account disabled (time period depends on the level off obscenity and the third time will result in a termination of membership and we will play or write out your character(s) as necessary.
8. Avatars should be 100 x 100 pixels and pictures in signatures should be NO wider than 800 pixels and no taller than 250 pixels!
9. You must choose a celebrity for your character. There is a thread for claims to celeb faces for characters.
