Alice and Jasper stopped just outside the French 2 and Spanish 2 classrooms, waiting for the rest of their family to arrive. Alice patted Jasper's arm and smiled at him.
"They'll be here in just a few more minutes. I just sent them all texts to show up right here. So, how did that feeling just a minute ago feel again?"
She lifted an eyebrow teasingly at Jasper, her eyes twinkling.

Jasper looked down at Alice and shook his head. He glanced around quickly and looked back at Alice. He took her in his arms and stared deeply into her eyes.
"Like this, angel..."
He let the emotion he had used earlier flow out, and grinned as Alice's eyes seemed to brighten. Jasper brought a hand up to flutter his fingers against Alice's cheek, and leaned down to kiss her lightly on the lips.
"You'll get the rest at home. This is no place for such things. Plus, the others are coming down the hallway. I can smell them."
Jasper turned slightly, watching the hallway the other family members were coming from.

Rosalie Hale is currently temping Emmett Cullen until we get a permanent player so their posts will be combined.
Rosalie and Emmett rounded to corner to find Alice and Jasper surprisingly close considering they were in school and they were never much for public display of their affection like Rosalie and Emmett were. Rosalie had her arm around Emmett's waist while he had his on her shoulder. Rosalie glanced back to see if any of the rest of the family was coming and Jacob and Renesmee rounded the corner just as she looked.
Renesmee waved emphatically while Jacob looked his usual sullen self, which made Rosalie smile a bit all until they walked in front of an air duct and the smell of the dog blew to her and she wrinkled her nose in disgust. She hugged Emmett and they met up with Alice and Jasper.
"You two sure are getting cozy in the halls." Emmett said with a teasing grin on his face.

Renesmee Cullen is currently temping Jacob Black until we get a permanent player so their posts will be combined.
Renesmee and Jacob came around the corner and she waved excitedly when she saw her aunt and uncle. She saw Alice and Jasper down the hall as well. She had a large smile on her face as they approached them.
"How's everyone's first day going?" She asked cheerfully. She loved school and was always quite enthusiastic about it and was upset when they couldn't go and went "camping". The others always told her she'd get sick of it soon, but she didn't think so. She loved learning and make new friends. She was never afraid to try new things was very outgoing.

Alice had turned just as the others had come around the corner and smiled. After Emmett's comment, she glanced up at Jasper and patted his arm. She then looked back at Emmett with a sly glint in her eye.
"At least we're not sucking each other's faces off. But anyway, we need Edward and Bella here. It's important. The entire family will be involved in this."

"Hey there is nothing wrong with a little passion every once in a while." Emmett said with a smirk, though now he was looking at Rosalie instead of Alice.
Rosalie grinned, knowing what that smirk meant. She leaned into him and whispered, "You know Esme will have our heads if we destroy any more of her furniture."
Just then she saw someone stopped at the other end of the hall looking at them and turned to look at them. It was the girl from her and Jasper's shop class but as soon as Rosalie turned she sprinted off.

Marguerite turned a corner and peered at the closest room number. She took another glance at the crumpled piece of paper held in her concrete grip, and then again to the room number. She sighed in exasperation, let the piece of paper drift to the floor, and then slammed one pointed heel onto it. She did this a few more times until she regained control and slipped her class schedule back into her bag. This school was so frustrating! She had been trying to find her French Class for almost fifteen minutes, and she felt as if she was no closer than when she began. This school was a maze.
Her ebony eyes narrowed as she spotted a few students at the end of the hall. Breath she didn't require froze in her throat. Those people...were vampires. Like her. She hastily ran a few fingers through her hair. One of the female vampires was exceptionally beautiful, even for an immortal, and Marguerite suddenly felt her worth plummet.
You can do this. Just...go and introduce yourself. This is why you're here. She nodded twice and sent herself in a beeline towards the huddled group. "Hello," she said promptly, sticking out one hand in front of the beautiful vampire. "My name is Marguerite."

Rosalie was taken off guard. She was most definitely a vampire, but definitely not like them either and it put her on edge. She wondered what on Earth she would be doing in a high school and why she would be so friendly on top of it. She finally stuck out her hand.
"Rosalie Hale." She said as they shook hands. She smiled apprehensively, but she had decided to act friendly since they were in school and while it was a deserted hallway, it was not the time to start anything that would expose what they were to anyone. She hoped Edward would come soon so they could find out what this girl's intentions were. "What a time for him to be late!" She thought, aggravated. She immediately pulled her phone out of her pocket and nonchalantly texted him.
"Where the hell are you?? We have a serious situation here!" She typed quickly and hit send as she was shoving it back into her pocket.

Alice's eyes widened slightly at the present situation. She hadn't seen anything like this in her visions, probably because she had been concentrating so hard on the girl from Jasper's class earlier that morning. She glanced up at Jasper as he put a protective arm around her and pulled her against him.

Jasper's keen nose caught the scent of the approaching girl and recognized the vampire scent immediately. He stepped forward slightly as he put a protective arm around Alice. This was the second time in his life that another vampire had taken him off-guard in such a way. He watched suspiciously as Rosalie extended her hand to the girl and glanced over at Emmett.

Renesmee looked nervously from Rose to Emmett and then to Jasper and Alice and then back to the girl. Jacob hugged her closer to him making her aware that he was just as uneasy about it as the rest of them were.
Jacob realized that Nessie was becoming more and more uneasy and he hugged her with his arm that was around her and kissed her head. The situation was stressful to say the least but he hated when his wife was upset so he rubbed her arm as he held her tight, trying to tell her it would be alright, even though he wasn't convinced of it himself.

Marguerite couldn't help but smirk at the reactions of the others. She still made an impression, that was sure. Her dark eyes flickered to each in the group. "Don't worry," she emphasized while shaking Rosalie's hand gently but firmly. "My family doesn't mean to hurt you. We just...wish to learn more about you." She ended her sentence there and thought mildly to herself if there were any Cullens, missing and if they had abilities like herself.
In a split moment, many things happened at once. Marguerite's black eyebrows knitted in confusion and fear as she sniffed once, twice, and caught the whiff of Jacob's scent. Without any regard to the mortal students, and against every concrete fiber in her body, she hissed - exposing a crescent row of dangerous pearl white teeth. "Dog!" she spat, pointing one spidery finger towards the resident werewolf.

"Hey that dog is with us." Rosalie hissed stepping towards Marguerite. Then she was relieved when Emmett stepped in as she couldn't believe what just came out of her mouth and now she had the sudden urge to wash her own mouth out with soap.
Emmett stepped towards Marguerite. "Hey we're not looking for a fight here and if you really mean what you said, then you aren't either. He's part of our family, plain and simple." Emmett growled and out of the corner of his eye he saw someone peeking around the corner watching the situation.

Marguerite took a few deep, calming breaths. She could not believe she had just had an outburst like that in public. Sure, werewolves were the bane of her existence, but that did not give her reason to start yelling and crouching and preparing to rip this werewolves' throat out.
"I...am sorry..." she apologized slowly, regaining her previous stature. She had forgotten that she was here to learn, to befriend, and if this was how they lived their lives, Marguerite would somehow have to accept the werewolf. She turned towards him, slightly recoiling, resisting the urge to vomit and crack his spine into splinters all at the same time. "Marguerite," she offered, and hope he took this as a sign of friendship.

Delilah got back to the hallway on the way from the parking lot and heard that they were still there talking so she peered around the corner. She wasn't one for spying but there was a possibility it had to do with her so she couldn't help but eavesdrop. She watched as the girl from shop class forced a smile and shook the other girls hand and introduced herself as Rosalie Hale. Delilah's nose wrinkled at an odd smell that she couldn't quite place, but it all became clear when the girl with dark hair called the tall tan boy a dog. It was then that she saw the gorgeous Rosalie step in and defend him. Then the other tall and quite muscular boy stepped in and told her that the "dog" was part of their family. "Weird." Delilah thought. "Then again like I have room to talk with the way my family is." She reasoned with herself.
Delilah looked at her watch. "Shit!" She thought. "Lunch is over in 15 minutes. Elizabeth is going to think I ditched her!" Then she heard the girl apologize and watched her offer her hand to the boy and Delilah headed down the hall, hoping but also doubting she went unnoticed.

Renesmee put her hand on Jacob's back.
"She apologized Jacob, please take her hand and accept it." She thought and she gentle pushed on his back, physically urging him as well. "She said she didn't mean any harm." She reminded him silently.
Finally after some visible hesitation Jacob took her hand. "Jacob Black."

Marguerite shook his hand as briefly as possible. "Please excuse my behavior. My family and I have a past with werewolves. But I'm sure I will overcome my discrimination." A light smile played on her full lips. She turned to the rest of the group. "I hope you all welcome the rest of my family as gratefully as you did I. My parents, Juliette and Sebastien, are working as attorneys. And my sister..." She trailed off there, since she wasn't quite sure exactly where Oceane was. She frowned, Oceane had promised to escort her through the first day and she had disappeared. She picked up where she left off in less then a millisecond. "My sister shall be joining me shortly."

Alice stayed still, her hand placed on Jasper's chest. She studied Marguerite's face, noting that she would now be keeping an eye on her for future purposes. She tried to keep a gentle smile on her face, but found it a bit hard considering that Marguerite had not shown up in any visions at all. It frustrated her exceedingly, but it was something that she would have to work out later.

Jasper clamped his jaws shut, his mind reeling about this new situation. Not only was there a new vampire in his shop class, but now there was supposedly an enitrely new vampire family in Forks. He contemplated whether the vampire in his shop class was a part of this new family or not, but decided against it since she hadn't even tried to talk to himself or Rosalie. Jasper tightened his grip on Alice when Marguerite suddenly snapped at Jacob, placing himself in front of Alice in a defensive sort of stance. He kept his gaze on Marguerite, ready to fight if need be.

Edward and Bella had been walking out in the woods retracing the steps that they had taken on their first encounter here. Bella smiled as she looked at Edward. " How did you manage to get into so many of my classes here?"
The expression on Edward's face turned to one mixed with coyness and slight mischief. " Well...I told the school principal in the strictest of confidence that you had anxiety issues and couldn't stand to be away from me for more than a period or two at a time."
Bella's jaw dropped open and she looked at him with fury in her eyes. " You did WHAT? How could you say that?! You're the one with the anxiety issues! You have more anxiety than me! I can't believe you sometimes! Jeez... No wonder the principal passed me with a mixed look of sympathy and asked," Are you alright dear?" She rolled her eyes at Edward.
Edward smiled sheepishly at her and pulled her closer to him. "I know...I'm sorry...You are my anxiety issue even after all these years." His phone went off and he pulled it out of his pocket and read the message from Rosalie. *Where the hell are you?? We have a serious situation here!* Edward frowned, then grabbed Bella and took off toward the edge of the woods, then slowed to a quick pace once they reached the school grounds.
Bella managed to keep up with Edward without tripping for once. It would have been a miracle but she suspected it had something to do with Edward holding her hand. When they reached the school grounds she asked tensely." What's wrong Edward?"
Edward replied as they walked through the doors and down various hallways heading for their next class. " Rosalie sent an urgent text...The family has a...situation..." He continued to pull Bella along with him util they rounded a corner and saw the group of family members ahead. They came up behind Renesmee and Jacob.
Before the family had come into view Bella spoke up. "What sort of situation?" Then the family came into view and she also smelled another unfamiliar vampire amidst them. Edward protectively pushed Bella behind him and kept one arm there. He looked to Jacob to protect Renesmee. He looked to Rosalie and Emmett, then to the new vampire. He wasn't in a fighting stance but he was clearly protecting Bella; it was instinct. He looked at her, not menacingly but just calm and in control. "I see we have company."
Bella looked from Edward to the new vampire. She bit her lower lip tentatively as she peered around his arm at the new girl. She didn't look like a threat but looks could be deceiving. She sighed and looked up at Edward again.

Alice glanced over her shoulder to see Edward and Bella had finally arrived. She said his name to get his attention.
"Edward."
She began to think about the new vampire that had been in Jasper's first class, and then about the vampire standing in front of Rosalie. She made sure to think about the entire conversation that Edward had missed, and stared at him, waiting for his eyes to reflect that he had read her thoughts.

Jasper smelled Edward and Bella coming up behind him, but kept his gaze on Marguerite. He tried to calm his own emotions, and those of everyone else. He knew that if the situation got too out of hand, it would be bad not only for his family, but for everyone in the building.

Edward looked to Alice and read her thoughts on what had happened before they had arrived. He un-tensed a little and put his arm down from in front of Bella but still stood a little in front of her. He smiled coolly. "Well...This is not the place to discuss matters. Would you mind meeting us after school? We have some very important details for you." He hoped she got the hint about them being vampire-related and not for human ears.
Bella sighed, looked at the girl and smiled at her. She put a hand on Edward's arm and whispered in his ear "It's alright. Calm down, Sugar. She isn't a threat to us." She also noticed how he always took control of the situation. She hoped the others didn't mind.
Edward acknowledged what Bella had said but looked at the new girl to read her thoughts on everything.

Marguerite suddenly began to feel uncomfortable, like her privacy was being invaded. The bronze and dark haired vampires that had just joined had immense power radiating off their skin. They had abilities and they were strong abilities. Marguerite shivered internally.
She nodded slightly at the male's suggestion. "After school would be great," she responded curtly, her black eyes trailing from the male, to the woman, and back to the male. She noticed the uncanny resemblence from the vampire in the werewolf's arms to the two that had only momentarily arrived and made it a mental note to ask about it later.

"Well it looks like it's just about time for the bell to ring." Rosalie announced after she glanced at the clock in the hallway. "Nice to meet your Marguerite." She put her arm into Emmett's and looked up at him. "Shall I walk you to class?"
"I'd like that." He said with a smile. "Later." He said with a quick wave as they walked off. Once they were out of others' hearing range he looked down at her. "What's the matter angel?"
"It's only a little over halfway through the school day and we've already met two vampires who aren't in the same family. So there's at least two other groups than us." Rosalie said contemplating the events of the day. She looked up at Emmett and saw the worry in his eyes. "I just hope that's all the surprises we have today." She assured him with a smile.
They made it to Emmett's Algebra class shortly after the first bell had rung. She gave him a kiss.
"Don't worry angel it will all work out." He said with a smile. "Love you."
"Love you too." She said just before spinning on her heels and heading back to her French class. He spent a moment to watch her walk down the hall and then stepped into his Algebra class.

Alice glanced back at Jasper as they parted in the hallway. Their classes were just across the hall from each other. She smiled briefly at Jasper before turning and opening the door to her French 2 class, her skirt twirling around her legs as she turned.
"See you in an hour, Jazz. Don't worry, I'll be watching everything."
She walked into the classroom and picked a seat in the row nearest the door and in the middle of the row, and waited for class to start.

Jasper watched Alice, looking wistfully at her for a moment. He nodded at her comment, and slowly turned and entered his Spanish 2 classroom. He chose a seat in the row closest to the door, but near the front part of the row. He sighed heavily and glanced around the room as he waited for the class to start.

Renesmee Cullen is currently temping Jacob Black until we get a permanent player so their posts will be combined.
Renesmee was relieved to see her parents arrive. She hoped her Dad would be able to check things out and make sure they were as safe as Marguerite claimed they were. Renesmee usually was quite positive and friendly and believed they were good until they gave her reason to believe otherwise. She decided she was just weary because of the insult to her husband and that's why she was having a hard time and that really there was nothing to worry about.
She was relieved when Rosalie pointed out the time She was ready to turn her mind back to school which she thoroughly enjoyed.
"Well we better be off as well." She said taking Jacob's arm. "It was very nice to meet you Marguerite and I hope we can become great friends." Renesmee said with a smile and they headed to their band class.
On the way to their class they passed Rosalie who was on her way back from walking Emmett to class.
"Hey Rosalie!" Jacob shouted to her with a smug smile.

"Shut it." Rosalie replied to Jacob. She really wasn't in the mood to have him rubbing it in her face that she actually defended him.
He yelled her name again even though they were only about 10 feet away from each other now. Even though it was a crowded hallway and Renesmee was with him, Rosalie looked him in the eye and hissed "Shut it MUTT!" just as they passed each other. She was so fed up with him and his attitude, Renesmee's husband or not, she was more than ready to give him and attitude adjustment with her fist.

Edward watched Marguerite as he waited for Renesmee and Jacob to get to their next class. He briefly glanced at Rosalie and Emmett as they walked off. His gaze shifted again as Jasper and Alice parted. He took a step back and wrapped an arm around Bella's waist as he watched Alice walk into the French class. He looked back to Jacob then steered Bella into the French class. He walked over and sat down next to Alice as Bella sat next to him. Bella sighed and realized belatedly they hadn't gone to their lockers and picked up their school supplies that mostly Bella did artwork in or Edward composed music in. She sighed and sat back in the chair.
Edward looked at Alice and was about to ask her something when the bell rang. He frowned and turned his attention to the teacher whom had started to speak. Bella did the same and grabbed Edward's hand under the table. He held her hand and smoothed out his features into an indifferent expression. He would ask Alice questions in French when they got the chance to break off into groups.
